NBA Playoffs: Clippers Oust Spurs In Final Minute Of Game Seven, Get Rockets Next


At Los Angeles:

Chris Paul, who scored 27 points while fighting through a hamstring injury, scored the game-and-series-winning basket with one second remaining in regulation on Saturday as the Los Angeles Clippers win game seven of their Western Conference quarterfinal series with the San Antonio Spurs 111-109 and dethroned the defending champions as the opening round of the NBA Playoffs concluded.

For the Clippers, Blake Griffin delivered a triple-double (24 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists).

Tim Duncan paced the Spurs with 27 points (while grabbing 11 rebounds) while Tony Parker added 20.

The Clippers will open their conference semifinal series with the Houston Rockets on Monday night at Houston.
