Stanley Cup Playoffs: Caps, Lightning One Victory Away Each From Conference Final Meeting

The Stanley Cup Playoffs continued with two games played in the Eastern Conference on Wednesday.

At Tampa, Florida:

Tyler Johnson scored the winning goal with 1.1 seconds remaining in regulation as the Tampa Bay Lightning defeated the visiting Montreal Canadiens 2-1 and took a three-games-to-none lead in their conference semifinal series.  Ben Bishop stopped 30 of 31 shots for the Lightning , who can finish off the Habs with a game-four home victory on Thursday.

At Washington:

Andre Burakovsky scored his first two career post-season goals while Branden Holtby saved 28 of 29 shots, including a penalty shot, as the Washington Capitals defeated the visiting New York Rangers 2-1 in game four of their conference semifinal series.  The Caps, who now lead three games to one, can finish off the Rangers with a game-five win in New York City on Friday.
