MLB Playoffs (National League Divisional Playoff Series): Bucs, Dodgers One Way Away From NLCS

Both National League Divisional Playoff Series resumed on Sunday.

At Pittsburgh:

Pedro Alvarez delivered the tiebreaking single in the bottom of the eighth inning as the Pittsburgh Pirates defeated the visiting St. Louis Cardinals 5-3 in game three of their divisional playoff series, which they now lead two games to one.  The Pirates can advance to their fist National League Championship Series since 1992 with a game-four home win on Monday.

At Los Angeles:

Carl Crawford hit a three-run homer and Juan Uribe added a two-run shot as the Los Angeles Dodgers defeated the visiting Atlanta Braves 13-6 for a two-games-to-one divisional playoff series lead.  The Dodgers can finish off the Braves and advance to the National League Championship Series with a home win in game four on Monday.
