MLB Playoffs (National League Divisional Playoff Series): Pirate Club Cards In St. Louis, Square Series; Braves Square Series With Dodgers After Home Win

The National League's two divisional playoff series both continued on Friday.

At St. Louis:

Gerrit Cole pitched six innings of two-hit ball (and had a run batted in in his postseason debut) while Pedro Alvarez, who provided one of the few highlights in Thursday's defeat, hit a home run as the Pittsburgh Pirates squared their divisional playoff series at one game apiece (and grabbed home-field advantage) with their 7-1 game-two home whupping of the St. Louis Cardinals.

At Atlanta:

In his first postseason appearance, Mike Minor six strong innings while Jason Heyward delivered a two-run single in the seventh inning as the Atlanta Braves squared their divisional playoff series with the Los Angeles Dodgers at one game apiece with their 4-3 game-two home victory.
