Ducks (Ranked Third In First BCS Rankings) Still Ranked Second In Media, Coaches Polls; Beavers Continue To Gain Support In Both Rankings (Ranked #25 In BCS Standings)

After Saturday's home win over Washington State, the Oregon Ducks remained ranked #2 (behind Alabama) in the latest Associated Press and USA Today/Coaches polls that were released on Sunday.  In the first Bowl Championship Series rankings of the season, also released on Sunday, the Ducks are placed third, behind Alabama and Florida State.

The Ducks received three first-place votes in the AP poll, four in the Coaches' rankings.

The Oregon State Beavers, now riding a six-game winning streak after their Saturday beatdown of California in Berkeley, are ranked #25 in the BCS rankings while continuing to gain support in both polls.  They would be ranked #28 in the AP rankings, #27 in the Coaches' poll.
