American League Championship Series: Red Sox Blank Tigers In Detroit, Take Two-Games-To-One Lead

At Detroit:

John Lackey pitched 6 2/3 innings of four-hit, eight-strikeout baseball as he out-dueled Justin Verlander (eight hits and ten strikeouts in eight innings), while Mike Napoli hit a solo home run in the seventh inning as the Boston Red Sox blanked the Detroit Tigers 1-0 on the road in game three of the American League Championship Series on Tuesday.  The Red Sox now lead the series two games to one.
