Mike Napoli led off a three-run second inning with a home run as the Boston Red Sox took game five of the American League Championship Series on Thursday with a 4-3 road win over the Detroit Tigers. The Red Sox, who now lead the series three games to two, can lock up their first American League pennant since 2007 with a win back home in Boston on Saturday.
