Peter O'Toole, Soared To Fame Playing Title Role In "Lawrence Of Arabia," R.I.P.

Peter O'Toole, the son of an Irish bookmaker who soared to fame playing the title role (the first of eight Academy Award-nominated portrayals) in the 1962 motion picture classic, "Lawrence of Arabia," in which he played the role of British soldier and adventurer T.E. Lawrence, passed away on Saturday at his London home at age 81 after a long illness.
