Farewell, Billy Jack

Tom Laughlin, the actor-writer-director best remember for the series of Billy Jack movies in which he played the title role (that of a former Green Beret who came to detest war) in the late 1960s, early 1970s, passed away this past Thursday at Los Robles Hospital and Medical Center in Thousand Oaks, California of complications from pneumonia at age 82.
