Isaac Fotu scored 17 points while Garrett Nevels added 16, Christian Standhardinger 15, and Brandon Spearman 14 (to go with his ten rebounds) as the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors (9-3) won the fifth-place game in the Diamond Head Classic on Christmas day, 79-73 over the Oregon State Beavers (7-4), despite 22 points from the Beavers' Roberto Nelson. Devon Collier (who grabbed 13 rebounds) and Challe Barton each tallied 13 for Oregon State. The victory was the Warriors' seventh in their last eight games.
