NCAA West: Buckeyes Hold Off Cyclones; Explorers Outlast Ole Miss

Two games in the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament were played on Sunday.

At Dayton, Ohio:

Deshaun Thomas scored 22 points while Aaron Craft, who added 18, scored the game-winning three-point bucket with half-a-second remaining as the second-seeded Ohio State Buckeyes (28-7) defeated the #10-seeded Iowa State Cyclones 78-75.

At Kansas City, Missouri:

Ramon Galloway scored 24 points, Tyreek Duren added 19, and Tyrone Garland, who scored 17 off the bench, provided the winning basket on a scooping layup with two second remaining as the LaSalle Explorers (24-9) defeated the Ole Miss Rebels (27-9) 76-74.
