In the lone Tuesday Stanley Cup Playoff contest, Nick Bonino scored the winning goal at 6:32 of overtime as the Pittsburgh Penguins, despite blowing a 3-0 lead, defeated the visiting Washington Capitals 4-3 in game six of their Eastern Conference semifinal series and eliminated the President's Trophy winner four games to two.
The Penguins will take on the Tampa Bay Lighting for the Eastern Conference title and a berth in the Stanley Cup Finals.
