At Oakland, California:
Stephen Curry scored 31 points while Klay Thompson added 27 and Andrew Bogut 15 (to go with his 14 rebounds) as the Golden State Warriors staved off elimination on Thursday night with their 120-111 game-five home victory over the Oklahoma City Thunder, offsetting a combined 71 points from the visitors' Kevin Durant (40) and Russell Westbrook (31).
The Thunder can still finish off the defending champions and the NBA's Western Conference final series (which they still lead three games to two) with a game-six home victory in Oklahoma City on Saturday.
Should the Warriors win on Saturday, the series will be decided in Oakland on Monday night.
