EASTERN CONFERENCE:
At Cleveland:
LeBron James scored 25 points while Kylie Irving added 21 as the Cleveland Cavaliers defeated the visiting Atlanta Hawks 104-93 in the opening contest of their conference semifinal series.
Dennis Schroder paced the Hawks with 27 points.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At San Antonio:
Russell Westbrook scored 29 points and dished out 10 assists while Kevin Durant added 28 as the Oklahoma City Thunder leveled their series with the San Antonio Spurs with their 98-97 game-two victory.
LaMarcus Aldridge paced the Spurs with 41 points.
