Kaka Leads Lions To Home Beatdown Of Timbers

At Orlando, Florida:

In the lone Sunday Major League Soccer contest, Kaka scored a goal (48') and assisted on two others----Seb Hines' score in the 13th minute and Brek Shea's tally in the 32nd---while Kevin Molino successfully converted a penalty kick in the 76th minute as Orlando City overpowered the visiting Portland Timbers 4-1.

Lions' goalkeeper Joe Bendik---who played for the Timbers in 2012 before spending three years with Toronto FC---saved Fanendo Adi's penalty kick in the 42nd minute.

Jack McInerney scored the lone Timbers goal in the 88th minute.

The Timbers will try to regroup before another nationally-televised contest-----at Carson, California against the Los Angeles Galaxy next Sunday evening at 6:30 PM Pacific Time (Fox Sports 1).
