THUNDERWOLVES BLANK MAVERICKS FOR NCAA D2 GRIDIRON TITLE

At Kansas City, Kansas:

Quarterback Chris Bonner threw for 191 yards and a touchdown while running back Cameron McDondle ran for 113 yards as the Colorado State-Pueblo ThunderWolves blanked the Minnesota State Mavericks 13-0 on Saturday for their first NCAA Division II national football championship.  It was the first title game appearance for both schools and the first D2 title game shutout since 1997.
