The Oregon State Beavers (7-2) built up a 41-9 halftime lead on Monday night before cruising to a 71-43 home beatdown of the Grambling State Tigers (2-6). Gary Payton II registered the Beavers' first triple double since 1988 (when his father did the trick) with 10 points, 12 rebounds, and 10 assists to go with his six steals. Victor Robbins paced the Beavers with a career-high 22 points while Malcolm Duvivier added 16.
