In the West Coast Conference opener for both schools, Alec Wintering converted a three-point shot with 0.3 seconds left in regulation as the Portland Pilots (1-0 in WCC play, 10-3 overall) scored the last nine points of their 61-58 road win over the San Diego Toreros (0-1, 7-6).
