Miami Beach Bowl: Tigers Grab Double-Overtime Victory Over BYU In Inaugural Edition

At Miami:

Quarterback Paxton Lynch threw four touchdown passes (including an 11-yarder to Roderick Proctor in the second overtime period) and ran for three more scores on Monday as the Memphis Tigers (10-3) capped off their first ten-win season since 1938 with a 55-48 double-overtime victory over the BYU Cougars (8-5) in the inaugural edition of the Miami Beach Bowl despite blowing two double-digit leads.  After the game, numerous players on both teams were involved in a brawl in which punches were thrown.
