The Oregon Ducks remain in the number two slot in the College Football Playoff committee ranking released on Tuesday, trailing only Alabama. Texas Christian University climbed up to third place (up two spots) , ahead of still-unbeaten Florida State. Mississippi State, who had been ranked fourth, fell to #10 after their Egg Bowl defeat at Ole Miss.
The CFP Committee selection show, which will determine the four entrants into top-flight college football's inaugural playoff, will take place this coming Sunday at 9:45 AM Pacific Time on ESPN.
