Freshman running back Josh Hicks ran for 202 and a touchdown while fellow freshman running back Robert Martin ran for 100 and two more scores and senior quarterback Gary Nova threw for 184 yards and a pair of TDs as the Rutgers Scarlet Knights (8-5) capped off their inaugural season as a member of the Big Ten Conference with a 40-21 beatdown of the North Carolina Tar Heels (6-7) in Friday's inaugural Quick Lane Bowl.
