Despite losing Mamadou Futty Dansa to a red card in the 81st minute, the Portland Timbers, with goals courtesy of Will Johnson (PK-52') and Jose Adolfo Valencia (84'), came back from two one-goal deficits to gain a 2-2 Saturday Cascadia Cup road draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps as the Timbers stretched their Major League Soccer unbeaten run to ten games. Camilo Sanvezzo (24') and Gershon Koffie (54') provided the scoring for the Whitecaps.
