Stanley Cup Playoffs: Rangers Get First Win Against Caps; Bruins Re-Establish Home-Ice Advantage Against Leafs; Wings, Kings Knot Respective Series At 2-2

The Stanley Cup Playoffs resumed on Monday with four games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At New York:

Aaron Asham and Derek Stepan each scored a third-period goal as the New York Rangers cut the Washington Capitals' series advantage to two games to one after their 4-3 home win in game three of their conference quarterfinal series.

At Toronto:

The Boston Bruins spoiled the first Stanley Cup Playoff match to take place in Toronto since 2004 as Adam McQuaid, Rich Peverley, Nathan Horton, Daniel Paille (shorthanded), and David Krejci each delivered the goal in the Bruins' 5-2 game-three victory over the Maple Leafs.  Boston now has taken a two-games-to-one series lead and seized back home-ice advantage in their opening-round series.

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Detroit:

Damien Brunner scored the winning goal 15:10 into the first overtime period as the Detroit Red Wings squared their first-round series with the Anaheim Ducks at two games apiece following their 3-2 game-four triumph at home.

At Los Angeles:

Anze Kopitar and Justin Williams each scored a third-period goal 76 seconds apart as the Los Angeles Kings came from behind to upend the visiting St. Louis Blues 4-3 in game four and deadlock their conference quarterfinal series at two games apiece.
