In Wednesday Major League Soccer action, the Portland Timbers gained a 1-1 road draw with the San Jose Earthquakes.
Yimmi Chara scored for the Timbers in the 34th minute, then, Vako equalized for the Quakes at 76 minutes.
The Timbers will again battle the Earthquakes in San Jose on Saturday at 7:30 PM Pacific Time (Timbers TV Network via KPDX-TV, Portland/ESPN+).
