At Portland, Oregon:
Felipe Mora scored the only goal of the match in the fifth minute on Sunday as the Portland Timbers upended the Vancouver Whitecaps 1-0 in Major League Soccer action.
This game, even though it was played in Portland, counted as a Whitecaps home match due to COVID 19-related travel and quarantine restrictions between the United States and Canada.
The Timbers have now won three straight games and four of their five as they now have stretched their unbeaten streak to five games and are still level on points with Seattle atop the Western Conference standings (the Sounders have the goal differential advantage, though).
Portland's next match is at home this coming Saturday night against the Colorado Rapids at 8:00 PM Pacific Time (Timbers TV Network via KPDX-TV, Portland/ESPN+).
