NBA Playoffs: Celtics Take 3-2 Series Over Raptors; Clippers Take 2-1 Series Lead On Nuggets

 At the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Bay Lake, Florida:


The NBA Playoffs continued on Monday with two games.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


Jaylen Brown scored 27 points while Kemba Walker added 21 as the Boston Celtics dominated the Toronto Raptors 111-89 in game five of their conference semifinal series.


The Celtics, who now lead the series three games to two, can finish off the defending NBA champions with a game-six victory on Wednesday (3:30 PM Pacific Time, ESPN).




WESTERN CONFERENCE:


Paul George scored 32 points while Kawhi Leonard added 23 (to go with his 14 rebounds) as the Los Angeles Clippers took a two-games-to-one conference semifinal series lead following their 113-107 game-three victory over the Denver Nuggets.


Nikola Jokic paced the Nuggets with 32 points as Denver fell despite having six players (including all five starters) scoring in double figures.
