NBA Playoffs: Heat One Win Away From Ousting Bucks; Rockets Too Much For Lakers In West Semifinal Series Opener

At the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Bay Lake, Florida:

The NBA Playoffs continued on Friday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

Jimmy Butler scored 30 points while Bam Adebayo added 20 (while grabbing 16 rebounds) as the Miami Heat overpowered the Milwaukee Bucks 115-110 in game three of their conference semifinal series, which Miami now leads three games to none.

Brook Lopez scored 22 points while Giannis Antetokounmpo added 21 (to go with his 16 rebounds and nine assists) to pace the Bucks, who now have the unenviable task of doing something never done in NBA Playoff history----coming back from a 3-0 series deficit to win a best-of-seven series.

The Heat can advance to the Eastern Conference Finals with a game-four victory on Sunday (12:30 PM Pacific Time, ABC).

WESTERN CONFERENCE:

James Harden scored 36 points while Russell Westbrook added 24 (while pulling down nine rebounds) and Eric Gordon 23 as the Houston Rockets opened their conference semifinal series with the Los Angeles Lakers with a 112-97 victory.

Anthony Davis topped the Lakers with 25 points (while grabbing 14 boards) while LeBron James added 20 (to go with his eight rebounds and seven assists).
