NBA Playoffs: Heat Finish Off Giannisless Bucks; Lakers Take 2-1 Series Lead Over Rockets

 At the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex, Bay Lake, Florida:


The NBA Playoffs continued on Tuesday with two games.


EASTERN CONFERENCE:


Goran Dragic and Jimmy Butler (who grabbed 10 rebounds) each scored 18 points as the Miami Heat used a balanced offense to defeat the Milwaukee Bucks 103-94 in game five of their conference semifinal series and eliminated the top overall seed four games to one.


Khris Middleton lead the Bucks (who played minus the injured Giannis Antetokounmpo) with 23 points.




WESTERN CONFERENCE:


LeBron James scored 36 points while Anthony Davis added 25 (to go with his 15 rebounds) and Rajon Rondo 21 (off the bench while dishing out nine assists) as the Los Angeles Lakers downed the Houston Rockets 112-102 in game three of their conference semifinal series, which Los Angeles now leads two games to one.


James Harden scored 33 points (while grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out nine assists) while Russell Westbrook added 30 (to go with his eight rebounds) to top the Rockets.
