Stanley Cup Playoffs: OT Goal Sends Stars To First Final In 20 Years

At Edmonton, Alberta:

Denis Gurianov scored the game (and series)-winning power-play goal at 3:36 of overtime on Monday as the Dallas Stars overcame a 2-0 third-period deficit to upend the Vegas Golden Knights 3-2 in game five of the Stanley Cup Playoffs' Western Conference Final and won the series four games to one.

The Stars will be playing in their fifth Stanley Cup Final (their first since 2000), gunning for their second title (their one championship took place in 1999); they'll face the winner of the New York Islanders-Tampa Bay Lightning East Final (which Tampa Bay leads three games to one).
