Stanley Cup Playoffs: Flyers, Canucks Force Game Sevens

The Stanley Cup Playoffs's quarterfinal round continue on Thursday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Toronto:

Ivan Provorov scored the game-winning goal at 15:03 of the second overtime period as the Philadelphia Flyers defeated the New York Islanders 5-4 in game six of their conference quarterfinal series, now level at three games apiece.

The series will be decided on Saturday at 4:30 PM Pacific Time (NBC).



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Edmonton, Alberta:

Jake Virtanen, J.T. Miller, Quinn Hughes, and Bo Horvat (empty net) each scored once while Thatcher Demko stopped all 48 shots as the Vancouver Canucks mauled the Vegas Golden Knights 4-0 in game six of their conference semifinal series.

The series, now squared at three games apiece, will be decided on Friday at 6:00 PM Pacific Time (NBCSN).
