Quarterback Tajh Boyd threw for 378 yards and five touchdowns, two of them (34, 30 yards) to Sammy Watkins who made 16 catches for 227 yards as the Clemson Tigers (#12 in the Bowl Championship Series and Associated Press poll, #11 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings; 11-2) knocked off the Ohio State Buckeyes (#7 in both the BCS and AP rankings, #6 in the Coaches poll; 12-2) 40-35 in Friday's Orange Bowl game.
