Josh Scott (who grabbed 10 rebounds), Askia Booker, and Jaron Hopkins each scored 13 points as the Colorado Buffaloes (#20 in the Associated Press poll, #24 in the USA Today/Coaches rankings; 12-2 overall, 1-0 in Pac-12 play) held off the visiting Oregon State Beavers (8-5, 0-1) 64-58 on Thursday as both schools opened Pac-12 Conference play, despite 23 points from the Beavers' Roberto Nelson.
