Russell Johnson, the actor best remembered for his portrayal of Professor Roy Hinkley (or simply, the Professor) on the classic (?!) 1960's TV sitcom Gilligan's Island, passed away on Thursday at his Bainbridge Island, Washington home from kidney failure at age 89.
With Mr. Johnson's passing, only Tina (Ginger Grant) Louise and Dawn (Mary Ann Summers) Wells remain from the Gilligan's Island cast.
