Quarterback Derek Thompson threw for 256 yards and two touchdowns (seven yards to Drew Miller, 34 yards to Darnell Smith) while Brelan Chancellor ran for two other scores (three and fifteen yards) as the North Texas Mean Green (9-4) broke open a game that was deadlocked at halftime and wound up dominating the UNLV Runnin' Rebels (7-6) 36-14 in Wednesday's Heart of Dallas Bowl.
