Chris Hanson scored 27 points and Andre Hatchett added 24 as the Idaho State Bengals (4-6 overall, 1-0 in Big Sky play) defeated the visiting Portland State Vikings (5-5, 0-1) 87-76 in Thursday's Big Sky Conference opener for both schools.
