Stanley Cup Playoffs: Predators Finish Off Blues, Advance To First Conference Final; Oilers Roast Ducks, Force Game Seven Back In Anaheim

The Stanley Cup Playoffs will continue on Sunday with game six of both Western Conference semifinal series.

At Nashville, Tennessee:

Roman Josi, Ryan Johansen, and Calle Jamkrok (empty netter) each scored once while Pekka Renne saved 23 of 24 shots as the Nashville Predators downed the visiting St. Louis Blues 3-1 in game six of their series and knocked out the guests four games to two to advance to their first-ever conference final, in which they will play the Anaheim-Edmonton series winner (that series now deadlocked at three games apiece).

At Edmonton, Alberta:

Leon Draisaitl produced a hat trick (with one of the goals on the power play) while Mark Letestu adding a pair (scoring a power-play goal himself) and Cam Talbot saved 34 of 35 shots as the Edmonton Oilers demolished the visiting Anaheim Ducks 7-1 in game six of their conference semifinal series.

The series, now squared at three games apiece, will decided at Anaheim on Wednesday.
