NBA Playoffs: Cavs, Rockets Grab Series Openers

The second round of the NBA Playoffs continued on Monday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Cleveland:

LeBron James scored 35 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Kyrie Irving added 24 (to go with his ten assists) as the Cleveland Cavaliers downed the visiting Toronto Raptors 116-105 in the opening game of their conference semifinal series.

Kyle Lowry paced the Raptors with 20 points while dishing out eleven assists.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At San Antonio:

Trevor Ariza scored 23 points while James Harden (who dished out 14 assists) and Clint N'Dumba-Capela (who grabbed 13 rebounds) each added 20 as the Houston Rockets embarrassed the San Antonio Spurs 126-99 on the road in the opening game of their conference semifinal series.

Kawhi Leonard paced the Spurs with 21 points while grabbing 11 rebounds.
