In Sunday's opening game of the NBA Western Conference Finals, Stephen Curry scored 40 points while Kevin Durant added 34 as the Golden State Warriors overcame a 20-point halftime deficit and upended the visiting San Antonio Spurs 113-111.
The Warriors once trailed by as many as 25 points.
LaMarcus Aldridge paced the Spurs with 28 points while Kawhi Leonard added 26 points before re-inuring his ankle in the third quarter (this was followed by an 18-0 Golden State run).
