NBA Playoffs: Cavs Put Raptors On Brink Of Elimination; Spurs Knock Off Rockets In Houston For 2-1 Series Lead

Two NBA Playoff games were contested on Friday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Toronto:

LeBron James scored 35 points (while grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out seven assists) as the Cleveland Cavaliers broke open a close game in the fourth quarter and smothered the Toronto Raptors 115-94 on the road in the third game of their conference semifinal series, which they now lead three games to none.

DeMar DeRozan topped the Raptors with 37 points.

The Cavaliers can close out the series with a game-four road win in Toronto on Sunday.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Houston:

Kawhi Leonard (who grabbed 10 rebounds) and LaMarcus Aldridge each scored 26 points as the San Antonio Spurs defeated the Houston Rockets 103-92 on the road in game three of their conference semifinal series, which they now lead two games to one, despite 43 points from the Rockets' James Harden.
