At Pittsburgh:
The second of Chris Kunitz's goals on Thursday night was the game (and series) winner at 5:09 of the second overtime period as the Pittsburgh Penguins won their second straight Eastern Conference title following their 3-2 home victory in game seven of their conference final against the Ottawa Senators (which means that the Montreal Canadiens' title in 1993 is still the most recent won by a Canadian club).
Matt Murray saved 27 of 29 shots for the Penguins.
The Penguins--who are the defending champions--will host the Nashville Predators in the first two games of the Stanley Cup Final, which will open on Monday in the Steel City (5:00 PM Pacific Time, NBC).
