At Houston:
In the lone Thursday NBA Playoff contest, LaMarcus Aldridge scored a season-high 34 points (to go with his 12 rebounds) as the San Antonio Spurs, with six players scoring in double figures, demolished the Houston Rockets 114-75 on the road in game six of their Western Conference semifinal series and ousted their downstate rivals four games to two.
Trevor Ariza paced the Rockets with 20 points as James Harden was held to 10 points.
The Spurs will open up the Western Conference Finals against the Golden State Warriors in Oakland on Sunday (12:30 PM Pacific Time, ABC).
