Pac-12 Tournament: Bruins, Wildcats, Utes, Ducks Advance To Semis

Four games were played as the quarterfinal round of the Pacific-12 Conference Men's Basketball Tournament was held on Thursday at Las Vegas.

In the opener, Larry Drew II scored 20 points and Shabazz Muhammad added 16 (12 in the second half) as top-seeded UCLA (#21 in the Associated Press poll, #25 in the USA Today/Coaches poll; 24-8) held off Arizona State (21-12) 80-75.

Nick Johnson scored 18 points as Arizona (#18 in both the AP and Coaches' polls; 25-6) defeated Colorado (21-11) 79-69.

Jarred DuBois scored 21 points and hit a game-tying three-pointer in the final seconds of regulation time as the Utah Runnin' Utes (15-17) outscored California (20-11) 20-10 in the overtime period as the Runnin' Utes, who are seeded #10 in the tournament, knocked off the second-seeded Golden Bears 79-69.


In the nightcap, the Oregon Ducks (24-8) held off the Washington Huskies (18-15) 80-77 in overtime. Tony Woods scored 19 points to pace the Ducks.

Friday's semifinal-round match-ups:

Top seeded UCLA vs. fourth-seeded Arizona (6:00 PM, Pac-12 Networks)

Third-seeded Oregon vs. tenth-seeded Utah (8:30 PM, ESPN)
