Jason Washburn scored 20 points and grabbed 13 rebounds while Jarred DuBois added 15 as the Utah Runnin' Utes (13-17 overall, 5-13 in Pac-12 play), with four players in double figures, outgunned the visiting Oregon Ducks (#19 in the Associated Press poll, #25 in the USA Today/Coaches' rankings; 23-8, 12-6) 72-62 on Saturday despite 21 points from the Ducks' E.J. Singler. The loss, Oregon's third in their last five games, coupled with UCLA's victory over Washington, ended the Ducks' shot at at least a share of the Pacific-12 Conference regular-season title. Oregon will be seeded third in the upcoming conference tournament which begins in Las Vegas this coming Wednesday. The win, coupled with their earlier home triumph over Oregon State, marked the first time that the Utes have won back-to-back conference games since joining the Pac-12 last season.
