David Pastrnak scored twice in the third period as the Boston Bruins defeated the visiting Columbus Blue Jackets 4-3 in game five of their conference semifinal series.
The Bruins, who lead the series three games to two, can close out the Blue Jackets with a game-six victory in Columbus on Monday.
WESTERN CONFERENCE:
At San Jose, California:
Tomas Hertl scored twice while Martin Jones saved 21 of 22 shots as the San Jose Sharks upended the visiting Colorado Rapids 2-1 in game five of their conference semifinal series.
The Sharks, who lead three games to two, can lock up the series with a game-six victory on Monday in Denver.
