NBA Playoffs: Sixers, Blazers Force Game Sevens

The NBA Playoffs continued on Thursday with two games.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Philadelphia:

Jimmy Butler scored 25 points while Ben Simmons added 21 as the Philadelphia 76ers, with six players (including all five starters) scoring in double figures, held off the visiting Toronto Raptors 112-101 to square their conference semifinal series at three games apiece.

Kawhi Leonard scored 29 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead the Raptors; Pascal Siakam added 21 points to Toronto's coffers.

The series will be decided on Sunday night in Toronto with the winner heading to Milwaukee for the first two games of the conference final against the Bucks.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Portland, Oregon:

Damian Lillard scored 32 points while C.J. McCollum added 30 and Rodney Hood 25 off the bench as the Portland Trail Blazers squared their conference semifinal series with the Denver Nuggets at three games apiece following their 119-108 game-six home victory.

Nikola Jokic scored 29 points, grabbed 12 rebounds, and dished out six assists before fouling out late in the fourth quarter to pace the Nuggets; Jamal Murray added 24 points and 10 rebounds to Denver's coffers.

The series will be decided in Denver on Sunday with the winner to take on the winner of the Golden State-Houston series (which the Warriors lead three games to two) in the Western Conference Finals.
