MLB Playoffs: Dodgers Erupt For Four Runs In The Seventh, Hold Off Nats In DC, Get Crack At Cubs For Pennant

At Washington:

Joc Pederson's homer keyed a four-run seventh inning, then Clayton Kershaw, who already won twice in the series, got the last two outs in the ninth inning for his first Major League Baseball career save as the Los Angeles Dodgers held off the home-standing Washington Nationals 4-3 in the fifth and deciding contest of their National League divisional playoff series and advanced to the National League Championship Series against the Chicago Cubs, which opens Saturday night in the Windy City.

The Dodgers will be seeking their first pennant since 1988 (when they won their most recent World Series title), the Cubs since 1945 (their last WS crown came in 1908).
