At Tukwila, Washington:
Pablo Rossi (PK-48') and Giuliano Frano (88') provided the scoring on Saturday night as Seattle Sounders 2 defeated visiting Portland Timbers 2 in United Soccer League action by a score of 2-1.
It was the first defeat suffered by the Portland Timbers' USL affiliate in their inaugural season.
The next T2 match is this coming Saturday on the road against Sacramento Republic FC, a team they had beaten earlier this season.
