NBA Playoffs: Bulls, Warriors Take 2-0 Series Leads


Two NBA Playoff games were played on Monday.

EASTERN CONFERENCE:

At Chicago:

Jimmy Butler scored a playoff-career high 31 points as the Chicago Bulls extended their conference-quarterfinal series lead to two games to none following their 91-82 game-two home win over the Milwaukee Bucks despite 22 points from the guests' Khris Middleton.



WESTERN CONFERENCE:

At Oakland, California:

Klay Thompson scored 26 points and Stephen Curry added 22 as the Golden State Warriors took control of matters in the fourth quarter and held off the visiting New Orleans Pelicans 97-87 in game two of their conference quarterfinal series, which the Warriors now lead two games to none.  Anthony Davis scored 26 points (and grabbed 10 rebounds) and Eric Gordon added 23 to pace the Pelicans.  Golden State has now won 20 straight home games.
