2014 World Series: Another Big Sixth Inning Powers Royals Past Giants As KC Takes Two-Games-To-One Series Lead

Alex Gordon hit a run-scoring double and Eric Hosmer had an RBI single, both in the sixth inning on Friday while four relief pitchers (Brandon Finngan, pictured here, amongst them) pitched four hitless innings of relief for starter (and winner) Jeremy Guthrie as the Kansas City Royals knocked off the San Francisco Giants 3-2 on the road in the third game of the World Series, which the Royals now lead two games to one.
