At Pullman, Washington:
Stephen Thompson, Jr. and Tres Tinkle each scored 26 points on Saturday as the Oregon State Beavers (18-12 overall, 10-8 in Pac-12 play) held off the Washington State Cougars (11-20, 4-14) 85-77 on the road in the regular-season finale for both schools.
Robert Franks paced the Cougs with 37 points.
With the victory, the Beavers assured themselves of a first-round bye in the upcoming Pac-12 tournament, set to open in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
